Breaking the Fast

I have this goal to make a perfect loaf of bread.  This little bit of breakfast was one of those attempts.  A dense, moist, tight crumbly potato bread sliced and toasted, then topped with Pumpkin bage butter.  

Honestly this is my kind of breakfast.  Very simple but full of flavour and lovingly prepared.  

The Pumpkin butter was one that I picked up while in the Okanagan last fall.  It is actually not the flavour I was expecting.  I thought it would be much more like a pie filling turned jam but this is much more savoury.
